II International Meeting of Theory and Analysis in Music: Structure and Significance in Music The II International Meeting of Theory and Analysis in Music will be held in cooperation between the graduate programs in music of the three State Universities of São Paulo: Usp, Unesp, and Unicamp from September 1st to 3rd. Professors Irna Priore (University of North Carolina at Greensboro, EUA), Raffaele Pozzi (Roma Tre, Itália), and José Miguel Ribeiro-Pereira (Universidade Católica do Porto) are the international guest lecturers. National speakers will be Professors Aylton Escobar, Rogério Costa, Adriana Lopes e Rodolfo Coelho de Souza (Usp), Yara Caznók, Alexandre Lunsqui, Lutero Rodrigues, Flo Menezes, Graziela Bortz e Marcos Pupo Nogueira (Unesp), Maria Lúcia Pascoal, José Augusto Mannis, Silvio Ferraz (Unicamp), Carole Gubernikoff e Silvio Merhy (Unirio). The members of the Organization Committee are Profs. Drs. Marcos Pupo Nogueira and Graziela Bortz from The Arts Institute of Unesp, Paulo de Tarso Salles and Adriana Lopes Moreira from the Music Department of Usp, Denise Garcia, Silvio Ferraz, Stephan Schaub and José Augusto Mannis from the Arts Institute of Unicamp. The conferences and round tables of the Meeting will take place the Arts Institute of Unesp, campus Barra Funda. Other conferences will be offered by the international guests on August 30th and 31st in the music departments of Usp and Unicamp.
