Pesquisa e Arte

Research and Art

Current research project: This project intends to study the process of sound creation in intermedia environments, through the theoretical foundations of transdisciplinarity. Using the fundamental of tetralogy - order, desordem, interaction and reorganization - which is present on the complex thinking in the "method" of Edgar Morin, we have as purpose: 1) Develop a bibliography review about the relation between creative process and transdisciplinarity-complexity; 2) Promote intermedia experiences between body and sound, gesture and sonorities through the construction of technological prepared environment for performance; 3) Develop a descriptive and analytical material from the artistic experiments involving the creation of electronic and conceptual devices in the attempt to produce gesture and sonorities in relation. We pretend aplly and study some pillars from the complexity theory during the analysis of the artistic experiments that composes this research. Through an auto ethnographic methodology, we organize this research on a format that propose reflexion and immersive on the author process of composition, from a collection made by the register of the laboratorial works, making the traces of the creative process the scope of reflexion. The expansion and closing of the research will occur when we extend these reflections to the practice of other authors who seem to develop works determined by the preparation of complex environments, involving material technologies, procedures and gestures.
